Soda Firing – August 31

We will doing our next Soda Firing on Saturday, July 8th and Sunday July 9th.
Registrants will get 3 pieces (about 3-4 inches x 6-8 inches each) that will include choice of flashing slip (orange or yellow) or glazes. Wadding for pieces are also included. Once pieces are slipped/glazed, we will wad them and load into kiln Saturday evening.
We will candle the kiln on Saturday night and firing will take place Sunday.
There are 2 spots available to assist with making ‘burritos’ for loading into the firing, and to help with the actual firing. Assistants will receive 1 additional piece in the kiln if desired.
